'Ripple Effect' Pays Off For Crazy Weatherdog

Ripple the weatherdog has found someone to love him — despite his crazy canine ways.

The Edmonton Humane Society confirmed on their Facebook page that the one-and-a-half-year-old Shepherd/Mastiff cross has found his forever family.

Ripple became an Internet sensation earlier this week, after he was filmed chewing through his leash and jumping all over a Global Edmonton weatherman during an Adopt-a-Pet segment.

The "Ripple Effect", as the Humane Society has been calling it, persuaded Dennis and Susan Paulsen, a couple who owns an acreage near Devon, Alta., to adopt the dog. The couple says they already own a Great Dane, Zoe, and Ripple will be a welcome "boyfriend" for her.
