2 dead, 3 injured after vehicle rolls north of Rocky Mountain House in Alberta

ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE, Alta. - Two people were killed and three others injured when the vehicle they were in went off the road and rolled in west-central Alberta.

Mounties say it happened Wednesday evening on Buster Creek Road about 25 kilometres northwest of Rocky Mountain House.

Police say there were five people in the vehicle, which went off the road on a curve.

One person was taken to hospital by air ambulance, while two others went in ground ambulances.

RCMP say they didn't know the extent of the injuries.

No other details have been released.
