A Richmond man has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after confronting four men in his home early Saturday.

Police received a call around 3 a.m. PT Saturday from a woman whispering into a phone that the men were in her house.

While police were on their way, the man's husband confronted them and was attacked.

He was taken to hospital, but police say his injuries are not life threatening.

Police say the victims were not able to provide investigators with a suspect or a vehicle description.

Richmond RCMP are asking anyone who may have heard or seen anything at the residence in the 12600 block of Jack Bell Drive to give them a call.
