Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, 22, abducted off Philadelphia street, still missing

Police in Philadelphia have released a video of a woman apparently being abducted Sunday night.

Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, 22, described by her family as a nurse, can be seen on the video struggling to get free as an unknown assailant grabs her off the street in the city's Germantown area.

A reward of $15,000 US has been posted for information leading to an arrest in the case.

The Fraternal Order of Police added its own $5,000 reward Tuesday to the $10,000 the city approved Monday for information on the disappearance of the woman.

Detectives say a witness reported seeing a woman identified as Freeland-Gaither yelling for help as she was forced into a dark grey four-door vehicle at about 9:40 p.m. Sunday in Germantown.

Police say Freeland-Gaither's glasses and cellphone were dropped on the street. The witness said Freeland-Gaither also broke several of the car's windows.

The woman's mother says it's devastating to see the video, which was taken from a closed-circuit television security system.
