There are a number of road and transit closures in Toronto this weekend, including a subway shutdown between Bloor-Yonge and Eglinton stations all weekend.

Another TTC closure

For the second week in a row, subway service will be shut down between Bloor-Yonge and Eglinton stations for the duration of the weekend. Shuttle buses will be running up Line 1/Yonge-University-Spadina on both Saturday and Sunday. Several stations — Davisville, St. Clair and Rosedale —  are open for buses, streetcars and fare purchases.

Adelaide closed for watermain and TTC work

Adelaide Street from Simcoe to York will be closed from Friday evening at 7 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m. Expect slowdowns on University Avenue, which will be limited to one lane of traffic in each direction — where University crosses Adelaide.

The construction on Adelaide is for watermain work, TTC track removal and road reconstruction, and will last till mid-November.

Bathurst remains closed

Construction and a closure at Bathurst Street and Dundas Street West runs until Nov. 20 — for streetcar track work, watermain repairs and road improvements. The 511 Bathurst and 505 Dundas streetcars will both switch to bus service, and the 511 Bathurst bus will divert around the construction.

Don Mills Road lane closure until the end of the month

One southbound lane of Don Mills Road from York Mills Road to Lawrence Avenue East will be closed until Nov. 30 for watermain construction. Expect delays.
