Hockey and the First World War

A new exhibit at the Hockey Hall of Fame takes a look at the impact of the First World War on the world of hockey.

Among the artifacts on display is the Military Cross awarded to Conn Smythe, the late Leafs owner for whom the NHL's well-known trophy is named.
