A Montreal-area man was arrested in Florida on the weekend after he flew there allegedly to have sexual relations with a 14 year old boy.

Police arrested René Roberge after he landed in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday.

He made his first court appearance Monday.

He was reportedly caught in an online sting in which a police officer posed as a father with a teenage son.

Roberge is accused of coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity.

He has a bail hearing Friday.

He could face 10 years in prison if convicted.
