Police arrested René Roberge after he landed in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday.
He made his first court appearance Monday.
He was reportedly caught in an online sting in which a police officer posed as a father with a teenage son.
Roberge is accused of coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity.
He has a bail hearing Friday.
He could face 10 years in prison if convicted.
