When Stephen Lewis went to the doctor in February and went to get weighed, he was off the scale.

The reading he got was, "Error."

To get weighed, the 25-year-old had to go to a farm and step on a scale used to weigh dead cattle.

He was 432 pounds. That was nine months ago.

Today, nine months after committing to a friend to lead a vegan lifestyle for 90 days, Lewis weighs in at about 275 pounds.

To celebrate his weight loss and his new life, Lewis has big hopes for his 26th birthday on Friday.

He wants to share his story and hopes it will inspire others, so he's encouraging people to share his story that he posted to YouTube.

"I want to share my story with the world," he says.

"I'm not trying to find fortune or find fame. All I'm trying to do is fulfill my dream and share this story with the world."
