A 41-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly luring women to a meeting using a job ad and then sexually assaulting them.

There have been at least two incidences which women applied for a job through the classifieds site Kijiji for a company called Corerite Salvage Logistics, met with a supposed representative of the company and were then sexually assaulted.

The woman were allegedly asked to meet a representative of the company at a local coffee shop for what is purported to be a job interview. The fake job interview includes sexually inappropriate questions and concludes with a sexual assault, according to police.

In one instance, the suspect used a 21-year-old woman's address on her application to show up at her home, where he sexually assaulted her. In another, a 29-year-old woman met him at a coffee shop for a fake interview, and was sexually assaulted.

On Thursday, police announced the arrest of Randy Purves, 41, of no fixed address. He was charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent acts.

Police believe there may be more victims.
