1 dead after truck goes over 15-metre embankment in Port Moody

The driver of a truck has died following an early morning accident Sunday at David Ave. and Forest Park Way in Port Moody. 

Police say the driver lost control of the truck around 2 a.m. PT. The vehicle went over a 15-metre embankment and ended up in a creek.

Crews were still on scene Sunday morning at 10 a.m. PT trying to retrieve the truck.

David Avenue. was expected to be closed until around 2:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. PT.
