Watt electric for Texans
J.J. Watt is heading towards becoming a 60-minute man for the Houston Texans. In leading them to victory over the Browns in Cleveland, Watt had his hands in just about every aspect of the game.
In addition to a strip sack, five tackles, and a fumble recovery, here's his effort on a touchdown reception from Ryan Mallett.
Bending it like Beckham
Odell Beckham Jr. of the Giants is one of the league's most exciting and talented rookie receivers. Trailing by six to San Francisco in the fourth quarter, Beckham Jr. defied physics with a great grab for a 44-yard reception. Take a look.
Manning not up to it
With the Giants in position to tie the game with a touchdown and take the lead with a subsequent extra point, Eli Manning threw for the end zone from inside the 5-yard line late in the fourth quarter.
The result was not a happy one for Giants' fans as Manning suffered his fifth interception on the day at the hands of the 49ers Chris Boarland.
Bucking a Tampa Bay trend
At 1-8 the Tampa Bay Buccaneers weren't impressing many, but they may have found something in rookie wide receiver Mike Evans who had a career day as the Buccaneers surprised the Browns in Cleveland.
Evans's efforts added up to seven receptions for 209 yards and two touchdowns.
He's no saint
Undoubtedly the fans in the Big Easy weren't the Big Welcoming kind when the Cincinnati Bengals had the temerity to score, and score often in their 27-10 pasting of the Saints in New Orleans.
