Jennifer Lawrence Channels Marie Antoinette In Dramatic Dior Dress

JLaw's Best Dress Yet

Proof that Jennifer Lawrence is the Queen of Hollywood? Girl just channeled the best parts of Marie Antoinette's style and made it her own.

On Monday, the 24-year-old Oscar winner attended the L.A. premiere of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1" wearing a dramatic Dior Couture gown that captured the essence of the late Queen of France's grand wardrobe.

JLaw's silver jacquard silk dress featured a drop waist with exaggerated hips (a silhouette favoured by French royalty in the 18th century) and a low v-neck.

Fortunately, the "American Hustle" star didn't channel Antoinette's beehive hairdo, instead opting for a simple updo with face-framing tendrils. Her makeup was gorgeous too: light pink lips, peach blush and a few swipes of mascara made Jen look like a modern-day princess.

And just like a Hollywood royal, the "Serena" actress changed into a different frock for the after-party. In Jen's case, it was a sexy black halter-neck dress paired with a blazer.

We love the way her style is evolving!
