As of 6 a.m., the temperature is -9 C in Toronto but with the windchill it's feeling like -18 C. There are snow squall watches and warnings for various parts of southern Ontario including Barrie, Orangeville and Niagara Falls.
Also, it's expected Toronto will get about 5 centimetres of snow tomorrow.
Things didn't get off to a good start for subway commuters. Service on Line 2 (the Bloor line) was shut down between St. George and Victoria Park stations due to reports of smoke at track level. The TTC was able to get the problem cleared before 6:30 a.m. As always, follow our traffic reporter Laurie Turcotte on Twitter (@CBCTraffic) for the latest updates.
