Arpita Khan's Wedding Was An Extravagant Bollywood Affair

Bollywood Wedding Is A Sight To Behold

Forget the Clooneys, the Jolie-Pitts and the Cambridges—Arpita Khan's wedding to businessman Aayush Sharma just trumped them all.

On Tuesday, Nov. 18, Arpita—adopted sister of beloved Bollywood star Salman Khan—and the groom got married at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, India, proving that when it comes to extravagant weddings, Indians do it better than everyone else.

The star-studded ceremony was a veritable who's who of Bollywood, including Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kabir Khan, Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala and even Priyanka Chopra.

Unfortunately, Bollywood vet and good friend Shah Rukh Khan couldn't make the ceremony but the actor did make Arpita's sangeet ceremony in Mumbai, where he was photographed kissing her on the head alongside her brother.

As for the bride, she was wearing a traditional red bridal lengha with gold embroidery. Naturally, she styled herself with gobs of jewelry including red and gold bangles and heavy necklaces.

As per tradition, brother Salman gave the couple a gift, but being Bollywood royalty meant that instead of giving cutlery and table napkins, he gave the couple a white Rolls-Royce Phantom. (!!!)

Salman Khan will also host a reception in Mumbai on November 21.
