Ridiculous(ly Awesome) Xmas Gifts From Retro Festive

There's nothing like weird gifts on Christmas -- if given to the right person, it can literally make someone's holiday.

Retro Festive, a Canadian online retailer of quirky merchandise from Christmas culture and pop culture icons, is back for the 2014 Christmas season with a new website, more selection, more categories, and two monumental anniversaries to celebrate.

On December 1, 1989, a comedic film by John Hughes titled "National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation" was released. Over the past 25 years this film about a father determined to create a traditional family Christmas against all odds (and cousins and parents and blown bulbs and squirrels) has become a holiday favourite. Retro Festive is the home of all things Griswold and is the exclusive Canadian distributor of glass Marty Moose Mugs, made famous by "Christmas Vacation."

Retro Festive Gift Guide 2014

The beloved Christmas TV special "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" first aired on NBC on December 6, 1964 and is now an annual holiday tradition around the world. The stop-motion animated special featured a mostly Canadian voice cast, including Billie Mae Richards as Rudolph, Paul Soles as Hermie the Elf, and Carl Banas as Foreman Elf. Retro Festive has the largest selection of "Rudolph products," featuring that shiny red nose and bouncing Bumbles.

Retro Festive also has the all fixings for the perfect ugly Christmas sweater party with more sweater designs than ever before, plus ugly Christmas sweater decorations and accessories such as banners, garlands, coasters and awards. They even feature ugly NHL Christmas sweaters for the die-hard hockey fans who wear their team -- and Christmas -- spirit on their sleeves.

The store also features gifts from virtually every Christmas television show and movie, like legs lamps from the classic holiday movie "A Christmas Story," and the beloved "Charlie Brown Christmas" tree.

New products this year include "Downton Abbey" ornaments, "Sons of Anarchy" stockings, "Despicable Me" baubles, and "Home Alone" turtledove keepsakes and iconic Kevin McCallister reindeer knit hats.
