Taylor Swift Skips The 2014 AMAs Red Carpet But Makes Up For It

Taylor Was The Best Dressed At The AMAs

Even though she didn't walk the 2014 AMAs red carpet on Sunday, Taylor Swift was still the best dressed.

Case in point: the "1989" singer looked gorgeous in a green Michael Kors dress that she wore during the show.

The Kors frock was a good choice; showing us that the 24-year-old's style is evolving—just like her music. The custom gown featured an illusion neckline and torso cutout, as well as a long modest skirt. It was a modern but still sexy dress, and Taylor werked it like a pro.

Another thing that Tay was good at? Dancing in her seat, which she basically did the entire night alongside bestie Karlie Kloss and Jessie J. The "Out of the Woods" singer also tore up the stage with her first public performance of her hit song "Blank Space," and changed into a bronze sequin mini-dress that was more suitable for dancing.

Taylor also won the first ever Dick Clark Award for Excellence and made a moving speech.

"What you did by going out and investing in music and albums is you are saying that you believe in the same thing that I believe in: that music is valuable and music should be consumed in albums and albums should be consumed as art and appreciated," Swift said during her acceptance speech.

Love ya, Tay!
