York police have arrested and charged two men in connection with a headbutting assault at a wedding in Vaughan.

Sameem Fatah, 22,  was charged with one count of assault and one count of assault causing bodily harm. Omaid Fatah, 19, was charged with one count of accessory after the fact. Both men are from Toronto. Police did not indicate if they are related.

The assault occurred on Nov. 8 during what police called "a large wedding reception." At around 12:15 a.m., a 14-year-old employee at the banquet hall walked outside to the front steps of the building and asked a group of people gathered there to please return back inside because they were holding alcoholic beverages.

At that point, a man stepped forward and headbutted the teen.
