Bif Naked's New Song 'Intellectual' Raising Money For AIDS Vancouver

Bif Naked's New Song Raising Money To Fight AIDS

Last month, Bif Naked took a $3 a day welfare food challenge to raise awareness of how hard it is to survive on social assistance and now she's hoping fans will spend $1 a song to raise money to help fight AIDS.

To mark World AIDS Day on Dec. 1, Bif has released a new song "Intellectual" with all proceeds going to AIDS Vancouver. "

"People are living longer with HIV, they’re not dying as much from AIDS, the singer told Global News. "That’s in North America, that's not the rest of the world of course, so I think it fell off the radar a little bit. It's important to you know, rally the troops and get everyone behind World AIDS Day so that we do remember that there is a segment of the population that is very vulnerable."

Bif Naked will also appear at AIDS Vancouver's World AIDS Day open house between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. where she will meet and take photos with people who bring cash donations or food for the organization's grocery drive.
