New Jersey Devils forward Jaromir Jagr left Tuesday night after taking a hit to the head by Penguins defenceman Roberto Bortuzzo.

The hit happened with more than two minutes left in the second as Jagr went around Penguins defenceman  Paul Martin before sending a pass out front. But Bortuzzo lined up Jagr to the left of the Pittsburgh net and decked him with an apparent elbow.

Jagr stayed on the ice for several moments before leaving for the dressing room. He didn’t return.
