Chicago Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford is embarrassed.

He's on the shelf for two to three weeks and currently wearing a walking boot on his left foot on account of an injury he picked up while leaving a concert.

Crawford says he "missed a step" while leaving the show.

“I’m not getting into the details. I’m just focused on getting back,” Crawford told CSNChicago.com. “It’s a tough bounce for me and like I said, I feel pretty bad about it. I just want to be out there playing hockey.”

He woke up the next morning feeling much more pain. When questioned about it, he refused to say whether he was drinking.

Crawford had started 14 consecutive games for the Blackhawks. He's 12-5-1 with a 1.87 goals-against-average and .927 save percentage.

Reports on social media indicate that Crawford was attending the Rise Against show at Chicago's House of Blues when the injury occured.
