This morning on Daybreak, the team broadcast the show from the NDG Food Depot and discovered more about the community organization's kitchen workshop for families.

Borough Mayor Russell Copeman stopped by to speak about his year in office and the major issues affecting his citizens and arts reporter Jeanette Kelly looked into the history of the CBC Sing-In.

Shawn Apel speaks to NDG Food Depot director of development Bonnie Soutar about the organization and what the money from the fund drive will go towards. 

We'll also hear from NDG Food Depot participant Henry Naskali about what the organization has done for him.

Diana Bronson, the executive-director of Food Secure Canada, will talk about about what is important to know about food nutrition.

Then the NDG Food Depot's Kim Fox joins Shawn to talk about the kitchen workshop.
