Coldplay frontman Chris Martin on Thursday revealed the name of the band's seventh studio album, which he compared to "the last Harry Potter book."

Martin went on air with DJ Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 after the band's single "Magic" topped Zane Lowe's 100 Hottest Records of the Year, voted on by listeners.

"I haven't told anyone this -- we haven't told anyone this -- but we're making an album called 'A Head Full of Dreams,'" Martin told Lowe, adding "We're right in the middle of it."

He continued, "It's our seventh thing and the way we look at it is like the last Harry Potter book or something. Not to say that there might not be another thing one day but this is the completion of something."

"I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing; otherwise we wouldn't put everything into it."

"Magic," which was the lead single off the band's 2014 album "Ghost Stories," beat The 1975's "Medicine" and Eminem's "Guts Over Fear" featuring Sia to top the listeners' poll.
