Shannon Burgess is still missing, and now police in Vancouver and Toronto are helping to get the word out about her disappearance.
Burgess (nee Madill), a 25-year-old Calgary actress, was last seen on Nov. 27 at her home in the 1900 block of Spiller Road SE.
Her family reported her missing on Dec. 1, after she failed to show up to family engagements and rehearsals.
Toronto Police and Vancouver Police have now joined the search. Both units issued releases saying they received information that she could be in either of the cities.
Police say they do not suspect foul play, but say her disappearance is out of character.
Burgess' car and cellphone remain at home and police say she has not used her credit cards since she went missing.
Burgess is described as:
- Caucasian
- Weighing approximately 130 lbs.
- Approximately five foot, six inches tall
- With red hair and green eyes
- Wears glasses
