This year-end rundown was excruciating hard to do because naming stylish celebrity men is akin to walking into Maison Laduree and trying to make a list of the most delicious pastries. (Basically, it's near impossible.)

But someone had to make the hard decisions and we were up for the challenge.

While we debated between Liam Hemsworth and the undeniably delicious Chris Pratt, it became clear to us that this list needs to be a top 100 to do the men of Hollywood justice.

We managed to whittle it down to the top 15 and apologize to the sartorially on-point celebrity men we had to bump.

We still love you Ryan Gosling.

Chris Pratt

Most Stylish Men Of 2014

Chris Pratt

"Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt seemingly came out of nowhere and won our hearts this year. His red carpet fashion sense is always slick, whether he’s sporting a casual look or a polished windowpane suit.

Ryan Reynolds

This comes as no surprise to anyone. Canada’s own Ryan Reynolds and wife Blake Lively always strive to make a statement on the red carpet or while jet setting around the world. Reynolds always subscribes to a classic but chic approach to dressing that is accessible.

Nick Jonas

We still don’t know when little Nick Jonas blossomed into a superstar style icon with rippling muscles. While he was busy pumping iron, he appears to have also consulted with a stylist. Jonas always appears in comfortable but stylish sweaters, leather jackets and a great pair of sneakers. His quirky carpet style consists of brightly coloured and three-piece suits. It's bold but not out-of-reach.

Jared Leto

Jared Leto's hair might be the only thing more talked about than his awesome sense of style. The "Dallas Buyer's Club" star doesn't have traditional style and that’s why we love him. Take the Alexander McQueen double breasted suit he wore to the Hollywood Film Awards and it pretty much sums up Leto’s unique fashion sense.

John Legend

On top of doing good deeds, R&B crooner John Legend is well known for his equally classic and funky fashion sense. He’s as comfortable in an orange leather jacket as he is in a traditional tuxedo. Once again, Legend wins at fashion and life in 2014.

Channing Tatum

We tend to prefer Channing Tatum topless but clothes look pretty good on him as well. The dancer-turned-actor has landed his fair share of fashion magazine covers, including the Dec. 2014 issue of Esquire, and we can see why they chose the "Magic Mike" star. From relaxed streetwear and dapper suits to tailored winter looks, the 34-year-old works a cool-meets-classic vibe.

Alan Ferguson

You may know director Alan Ferguson as Solange Knowles’ husband or Beyoncé’s brother-in-law. What you might not know is that he’s as stylish as his daring wife. The newlyweds make a stylish pair, experimenting with bold new looks. (Just look at their stunning wedding photos!)

Jamie Dornan

Hollywood’s newest "It" boy Jamie Dornan of "Fifty Shades of Grey" fame blossomed from a young Calvin Klein model with a penchant for baggy jeans to a polished leading man with impeccable style.

Benedict Cumberbatch

Very few men can pull off a velvet suit like Benedict Cumberbatch. So lauded was the velvet number he sported at "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" in December, that it garnered a popular hashtag, #Cumbervelvet. That in itself is proof you’re officially a style icon. Never mind that he appears to be a genius at mixing and matching textures and layering his ensembles to perfection.

David Beckham

Whether David Beckham is dressed by his designer wife Victoria is something we’ll never know for sure. What we do know is Beckham is consistently on best-dressed lists and even designed a capsule collection of biker jackets for luxury menswear line, Belstaff.

Bradley Cooper

You don’t land a supermodel girlfriend by dressing poorly (hi, Suki Waterhouse!). Rugged actor Bradley Cooper isn’t afraid of sporting a little colour or going for an edgy look. Cooper can also be regularly seen at fashion shows observing the latest trends from Burberry and Tom Ford (looking as if he just walked off the runway, natch.)

Neil Patrick Harris

"Gone Girl" star Neil Patrick Harris has admitted that he leans towards timeless looks and he's right: the actor is rarely caught in anything risqué but that’s why we love his style. Simple, clean and well tailored is his preferred aesthetic.

Eddie Redmayne

"The Theory of Everything" star is a bit of a newcomer to the red carpet scene but he’s already dazzled us with his bold sense of fashion. The Brit can pull off a dapper plaid suit with the best of them but also appreciates a laidback ensemble. He's even mentions Roots as his preferred choice of loungewear. (Us Commonwealth folk know a good pair of sweats when we see one.)

Pharrell Williams

The R&B singer and producer has an eclectic sense of style to say the least. His fashion preferences may not be for everyone but you can’t deny his sense of adventure. Williams is a regular envelope pusher on the red carpet, never quite content with looking like everyone else.

Tom Hiddleston

The British actor is another leading man who has perfected the classic dapper gentleman look. He topped Glamour Magazine’s Best Dressed List of 2014 and we’re not entirely surprised.
