These days, more and more couples are ditching traditional wedding rings for tattoos.
There are many pros to wedding ring tattoos, from cost (they're much cheaper than platinum diamond rings) to exclusivity (yours is bound to be a one-of-a-kind).
Even celebrities are ditching their gold bands for tats. Model Behati Prinsloo, who married Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine in July, got a tattoo of three dots to signify their union.
"It means being one with the earth," she told Yahoo Style of the tattoo. "And I just wanted it on my ring finger so when I take it off, itβs still there!"
Other celebs who have gotten ink on their ring fingers include Beyonce (the roman numerals IV); Dax Sheppard (a bell tattoo) and Kelly Rowland.
