25 Unforgettable B.C. Images Of 2014

2014 was the year of the animal in B.C., judging by some of the unforgettable images that stood out in our photo archives.

From photographer Jim Lawrence's image of a grizzly bear toying with his camera gear to Caleb Jamieson's Instagram shot of an orca taking a majestic leap out of Blind Channel in Squamish, British Columbia's natural environment brought much visual inspiration this year.

Protecting such a landscape also leads us to some of the other photos featured in our list, as Canadian Press photographers captured the passion of those opposed to pipeline development in B.C.

Of course, we haven't forgotten some light-hearted moments, too.
