Well, we could have predicted this!
On Thursday, Kate Upton was presented with the Sexiest Woman award at the inaugural People Magazine Awards but funnily enough, she kind of had to apologize for it.
"I'm so, so sorry to my 18-year-old brother," she joked during her speech. "Poor David!" But she quickly realized that boyfriend Justin Verlander would definitely appreciate his girlfriend's honour. "Um, you're welcome, Justin," she said with a laugh.
The 22-year-old certainly looked the part, wearing a leather LBD with a waist-cinching belt that flaunted her curves.
When asked backstage about how she felt about winning the award she said, "I'm so excited...it's an awesome award, I mean it's amazing, it's sexy when someone is confident and happy and I apparently achieved that in 2014."
The Sports Illustrated model achieved that and much more this year, having been named the most Googled model of 2014, beating out the likes of Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss and Kendall Jenner.
