There were a lot of amazing red carpet fashions that happened in 2014 (hello Lupita Nyong'o, Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence) but none of them arguably could hold the proverbial candle against Dame Angelina Jolie. (Bow down.)

Not only did the 39-year-old goddess make us all want to wear menswear again but she wore one of the most talked about wedding dresses of the year.
