Arron Barberian, Toronto Steakhouse Owner, Takes Down Mugger (VIDEO)

Toronto's Very Own Barberian Takes On Mugger At His Steakhouse

If ever there was a reason to have security cameras on your restaurant (well, apart from the obvious), this is it.

Arron Barberian, owner of Barberian's Steak House in Toronto, posted the video above to YouTube on Monday as a display of his skills at taking down a mugger outside his restaurant.

UPDATE: Toronto police have since arrested a 44-year-old man in connection with the attempted robbery, according to CP24. The suspect, identified as Joel Brown, faces a robbery charge and is slated to appear in court on Wednesday morning.

Barberian, dressed in a rather dashing black coat, doesn't hesitate to fight off the robber, even chasing him down the street to make sure he learns his lesson. As a second video posted from inside the restaurant shows, Barberian pulls the man's shirt over his head in an attempt to keep him from running off.

As the restaurant's Twitter account posted, they know Barberian is not a man to be taken lightly:

Barberian had been carrying a cash till towards the door of his restaurant when the man approached him. While the mugger didn't get away with any money, a woman on the street picked up and took Barberian's iPhone, which dropped as he pursued his attacker, according to CP24.

As the restaurant's Twitter feed reported Wednesday morning, Barberian was heading to Toronto Police to hopefully identify the original mugger.

The video, of course, has prompted the re-emergence of Barberian's other viral hit, when he wielded a bat (jokingly! jokingly!) during a Blue Jays game at Cleveland Indians’ second baseman Jason Kipnis, who'd broken the bat trying to hit a pitch. Pieces went flying toward Barberian and hit him on the head.

But in the meantime, it sounds like Barberian has earned his own walk-up song:
