Moncton woman missing since Dec. 21

RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating a 48-year-old Moncton, N.B., woman who was reported missing to police on Christmas Eve.

The last time someone is known to have spoken to Roxy Marguerite Demerchant was Dec. 21 at around 3 a.m., say police.

She may have been dropped off in the Cape Tormentine, N.B., area.

Her family has told police Demerchant's disappearance is out of character.

Demerchant is approximately five feet five inches tall, with a medium build. She has shoulder length black hair.

She may have been wearing a purple dress with a big buckle, a purple jacket and black leather shoes.
