Good morning and happy Friday.

A light dusting of snow fell overnight and forecasters are calling for a high of 0 C today. Click here for a full Toronto forecast

The interesting weather will happen over the weekend when Environment Canada expects a "significant winter storm" to  hit. The snow is expected to start falling on Saturday then turn to rain later in the day as temperatures rise above freezing. Depending on how the temperature and precipitation plays out, some areas could see freezing rain. The takeaway here is that this is a good weekend to check the weather before heading out on the roads.

In the news today, we're looking at a fire at a light industrial area near Black Creek Drive and Weston Road.

Also, fire crews will continue their search today for a 68-year-old man who's been missing since his home in the Don Mills area was gutted by a New Year's Day fire.

In sports, the Leafs will return to action tonight in Minnesota against the Wild. They will be without forward Joffrey Lupul, who suffered a lower body injury this week and was placed on injured reserve.
