Robbery at west-end Bank of Montreal

Toronto police are investigating their third bank robbery in less than 24 hours.

Detectives at 22 Division say the Bank of Montreal at 2448 Lake Shore Blvd. West and Mimico Avenue, was robbed at about 10 a.m. Saturday.

The west-end robbery comes after two banks were held up in mid-town on Friday.

The TD Canada Trust branch at Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue East was held up around 6:30 p.m. Less than 15 minutes later, a second robbery took place at a Bank of Montreal on Avenue Road, just north of Lawrence.

Police say they're looking for a single male suspect in connection to Friday's robberies.

There's no word on whether police suspect the same man is responsible for Saturday's heist.

No injuries were reported in any of the three robberies.
