Canada takes bronze in team relay at luge World Cup

Canada's Alex Gough, Samuel Edney and doubles team Tristan Walker and Justin Snith came in third in the team relay at the luge World Cup with a combined time of 2 minutes, 46.394 seconds.

That time was only 1.901 seconds behind the first place German team. Natalie Geisenberger, Felix Loch, and TobiasWendl/TobiasArlt were all fastest in their individual runs as Germany claimed the team relay in 2 minutes, 44.493 seconds.

The United States team of Emily Sweeney, Mazdzer and Matthew Mortensen/Jayson Terdiman was second, 1.402 seconds back. 

Olympic champion Felix Loch won the men's event on Sunday making it a German sweep.

Alex Gough earned silver on Saturday, just behind Geisenberger.
