Elsa Wolinski, Daughter Of Murdered Charlie Hebdo Cartoonist, Shares Heartfelt Tribute

Murdered Cartoonist's Daughter Shares Heartbreaking Message

There's an empty desk where Georges Wolinski once drew cartoons.

His daughter Elsa shared a picture of it on Instagram Wednesday, the same day that the cartoonist was killed in the Paris offices of Charlie Hebdo, a satirical publication.

The photo was posted with the message, "Papa est parti pas Wolinski," which translates as, "Dad is gone, not Wolinski."

Wolinski, 80, was one of 12 people killed in the shootings. Also among the dead were Wolinski's cartoonist colleagues Cabu and Tignous, and editorial director Stéphane Charbonnier.

Wolinski appears in numerous photos on Elsa's Instagram account, such as this one with her daughter.
