CBC's Junior J-School workshop for aspiring journalists underway

CBC is welcoming 350 students in grades 10, 11 and 12 to Studio 40 at the CBC Vancouver Broadcast Centre for Junior J-School today, Saturday, Jan.10.

It's a one day workshop where students will hear first-hand from veteran, award-winning CBC journalists on the changing world of journalism with an intimate look at how stories are reported.

CBC journalists participating in the workshop include host Andrew Chang, News Now host Ian Hanomansing, B.C. Almanac host Gloria Macarenko, 11 p.m. PT news host Miyoung Lee, senior correspondent Adrienne Arsenault, Correspondent Duncan McCue The National, meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe, Go Public host Kathy Tomlinson, and reporter Susan da Silva,
