Attorney Richard Schonfeld appeared in court Monday for Griffin in the misdemeanour battery case, and a judge set another date for Feb. 17.
Schonfeld says he turned over to prosecutors the results of his investigation of Daniel Schuman's accusation that Griffin grabbed Schuman, took his cellphone and slapped him after Schuman took a photo of Griffin and Clippers teammates Oct. 19 at Tao nightclub. Schonfeld declined outside court to provide details.
District Attorney Steve Wolfson has said he'll consider any information he receives.
The negotiations are taking place ahead of arraignment.
The 25-year-old Griffin remains free without bail.Suggest a correction
