Charlie Hebdo's Post-Shooting Cover Is Powerful

Charlie Hebdo is releasing on Wednesday its first issue since the deadly shootings at its Paris offices that killed 12 people last week.

The satirical publication will release three million copies of its Jan. 14 edition. Here is the cover.

The cover image depicts the Muslim prophet Muhammad shedding a tear and holding up a sign saying, "Je Suis Charlie," in reference to the slogan people have used to show solidarity with the shooting victims.

There is also a headline saying, "Tout est pardonné," which means, "All is forgiven."

It's a powerful statement following attacks by men who objected to the depiction of the Muslim prophet in its pages.
