(Relaxnews) - Several leading recording artists contributed to the soundtrack of the highly anticipated adaptation of E.L. James's erotic novel, setting music to Christian and Anastasia's kinky games. "Fifty Shades of Grey: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" goes on sale February 9.

Beyoncé set things in motion in July 2014, when a sultry remix of her hit single "Crazy in Love" was heard in one of the first "Fifty Shades of Grey" teasers.

But she isn't the only chart-topping star on the soundtrack. Australian singer-songwriter Sia contributed the previously unreleased "Salted Wound," while British singer Ellie Goulding shared her original song "Love Me like You Do."

Legendary music icons are also well represented on the track list, which includes Annie Lennox's recording of "I Put a Spell on You" and the Rolling Stones' "Beast of Burden." There is even a posthumous contribution from Frank Sinatra ("Witchcraft").

Rising R&B star The Weeknd also supplied original songs to accompany the movie: "Earned It" and "Where You Belong."

Singers Jessie Ware, Laura Welsh and Skylar Grey, along with the American electronic group Awolnation and the British band Vault, can also be found on the new album.

"Fifity Shades of Grey," which stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, is among the most anticipated movies of 2015. The film opens in the US on February 13.

The book series by E.L. James, which debuted in 2011, has sold over 70 million digital and paper copies worldwide. The original trilogy includes the books "Fifty Shades of Grey," "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed."
