Barrie police investigate 2 knifepoint sex assaults

Barrie police are warning sex-trade workers to be cautious in dealing with clients, as investigators hunt for a male suspect who sexually assaulted two women at knifepoint.

Police say that a man contacted these women after seeing online advertisements and met them at local hotels, where they were then sexually assaulted.

The man is described as a 5'3" to 5'6" white male, who is between 30 and 45 years old.  He has short, dark hair, is clean-shaven and is estimated to weigh 250 pounds. Police say he may have a speech impediment or lisp.

Police have yet to identify the suspect but they believe he is in Barrie.
