For newly married couples finally getting over their honeymoon phase and romantic bliss, facing their new responsibilities can sometimes put a burden on the relationship.

Divorce attorney Bruce Provda says when new experiences start to wear off in those first few months, couples may start to wonder if they made the right decision. And even if these couples in doubt decide to work on their marriages, they may start falling into a dull routine.

"Change is good in a relationship and the important thing is to expose yourselves constantly to new outside influences," he says.

And yes, marriage is hard work, but Provda says putting in the effort will make the two of you stronger. Here are eight tough ways to make your marriage the best it can be in 2015—hey, nobody said this was going to be easy.
