CALGARY - Two men have survived after a helicopter crash-landed in a field north of Calgary.

Calgary EMS spokesman Stuart Brideaux says both men were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The hard landing north of Springbank Airport this morning caused extensive damage to the tail of the helicopter and smashed the aircraft's windows.

Both men were able to get out of the damaged aircraft on their own.

Brideaux says one man is in serious, but stable condition, while the other is in stable condition.
