Calgary police have charged a man with the alleged sexual assault of a four-year-old boy at a local dayhome.

Miles Jarvis Clark, 51, has been charged with sexual interference with a child under 16 years.

He was arrested Feb. 5, after the boy told his parents he was fondled by a man at a private dayhome in the 0-100 block of Rockyspring Rise N.W.

Police say the accused lives at the home, but is not a childcare worker. The incident is alleged to have happened when the man and boy were alone.

Police say the dayhome operator and accused know each other.

Police are trying to contact parents with children that have attended the dayhome. Anyone with information is asked to call 403-266-1234.
