Kyle Lowry soars for rare dunk in all-star game

Apparently Kyle Lowry was saving something special for his first-ever appearance at the NBA all-star game on Sunday at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The Toronto Raptors guard, who was voted in by fans, elevated for a put-back jam off a missed jump shot by LeBron James.

According to Marv Albert of TNT, the six-foot Lowry hadn't dunked in a game since 2009.

Lowry's demonstration of hops caught the Raptors' Twitter account by surprise:

Earlier in the contest, Lowry showcased some of his other talents when he stole the rock and set up John Wall for an alley-oop at the other end.

Now if Lowry could just step in front of someone to draw one of his patented charges, that would make for quite the hat trick.
