The Toronto Island Ferry got stuck in ice Sunday morning. It wasn't clear which direction it was going or how many passengers/crew were on board when fire crews were called for assistance after 8 a.m.
Toronto Fire responded with a fireboat to break the ice.
Fire crews will cut a perimeter around the ferry to break up the ice around the boat, then clear a path for it to reach its destination. The fire department said it will be breaking ice on the lake all day.
