Edmonds SkyTrain Station Fight In Burnaby Leads To Man's Death

UPDATE - March 3, 2015: Two men have been arrested in the death of James Enright, 27, announced the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team. A 22-year-old man is charged with second-degree murder, while an 18-year-old man is charged with manslaughter and assault causing bodily harm. A publication ban prevents the release of further details of the suspects, said police.

BURNABY, B.C. - Homicide officers are investigating at a Burnaby SkyTrain station after a man died early Sunday morning.

Burnaby RCMP responded to a report of an altercation at Edmunds SkyTrain station just before 1 a.m.

Officers found one man in need of medical attention, and he was rushed to hospital where he later died.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is now working with Burnaby RCMP and Transit Police to determine what led to the man's death.

Sgt. Stephanie Ashton says investigators know there were a number of people in the area at the time of the altercation, and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

The man's identity is not being released, pending notification of next-of-kin.
