Shot Fired On Deerfoot Trail In Case Of Violent Road Rage

The driver of one of the vehicles called 911, reporting the other driver had pointed a handgun at him.

Calgary police are looking for a driver who shot at the car of another motorist in a violent case of road rage Monday night.

Police say the incident took place just before 8 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Deerfoot Trail near the Southland Drive exit.

The driver of one of the vehicles called 911, reporting the other driver had pointed a handgun at him.

When he drove to a nearby police station, the driver noticed a bullet hole in his car.

Police say no one was injured in the altercation, but the victim was not able to get a licence plate number.

Police are looking for a white Dodge Ram truck.

Anyone who witnessed the event or may know about the truck in question is asked to call police.
