Tea is the second most popular beverage in the world (coming right after water), and arguably the most versatile.

Whether you're looking to warm up on a chilly winter's day or chill out before going to bed, there's a cuppa with your name on it.

Making the perfect cup of tea depends on a variety of factors. The tea experts at Teavana say it's important to note the brew time and water temperature required for different types of tea, but we're big fans of making tea to your own taste too.

In the video above, Buzzfeed goes around the world for a closer look at 14 cups of tea in 14 different countries. From a mix of black leaves brewed solo then combined in Russia to spearmint steeped in green tea in Morocco, you can see (and taste) the difference in each country's cup.
