Andreja Pejic Makes Her Post-Transition Runway Debut At Giles

Andreja Pejic's Triumphant Return To The Runway

Though Andreja Pejic is no stranger to the runway, this may be her most special moment yet.

The trans model, formerly known as Andrej, made her runway debut at Giles' fall 2015 show, following her gender reassignment surgery that took place last year.

The 23-year-old Bosnian-Australian joined a star-studded model cast for the show held in London, including Kendall Jenner, Jessica Stam, and Lily Donaldson. She wore a black satin cape with a bow neck and high, ruffled collar. Andreja's hair was swept back, and she sported a dramatic dark, glossy lip.

Following the show, Pejic expressed her excitement on Instagram, sharing a snap of herself rom the runway.

"It feels amazing to be making my runway debut for one of my favourite British designers #Giles Thank you to @kegrand and @guineapiggiles #thereturn #LFW," she captioned the pic.

She also shared a backstage snap of herself and Kendall Jenner.

Prior to this show, Pejic took a break from modelling to film a documentary about her choice to come out as a trans woman. She is also set to make her acting debut later this year in Sofia Coppola's adaptation of "The Little Mermaid."

We can't wait to see more of Andreja!
