Former CBC Radio host Jian Ghomeshi is expected to return today to a Toronto court to learn more about the charges against him, including seven sexual assault counts.

It's believed Ghomeshi will be at College Park for his 9 a.m. ET court hearing. CBCNews.ca will livestream his anticipated arrival.

Ghomeshi, 47, faces eight charges, which also include overcoming resistance by choking.

Ghomeshi was fired as host of the arts and culture show Q after sexual assault allegations emerged last October.

He has denied taking part in any violent, non-consensual sexual acts and has pleaded not guilty in court.

Last November, Ghomeshi's lawyer, Marie Henein, said he would address the allegations against him "fully and directly in a courtroom."

He has been free on $100,000 bail with numerous conditions throughout the court proceedings.
