WATCH: Man's Year Long Proposal Video Goes Viral

This Guy Proposed Every Day For 365 Days

Planning the perfect proposal takes time, creativity and plenty of dedication. Luckily, Dean Smith had all three, in spades.

In the video above, Dean explains to his girlfriend Jennifer that he knew he wanted to marry her on January 8, 2014, a full year before he actually gets down on one knee.

Clocking in at just over 15 minutes (but trust us, it's worth it), Dean films himself declaring his love with a whiteboard in hand every day for one year. The video shows Dean singing in the shower, dancing in his bedroom and cuddling with the couple's pets. Family and friends make cameos, and even Jennifer herself, but she still had no idea.

Sitting on the beach during a family vacation to Aruba, Jennifer silently sobs while watching Dean's proposal countdown. After 365 clips, Jennifer is instructed to turn around, where she finds Dean waiting once again with his whiteboard in hand. Crying together, Dean gets down on one knee and proposes one last time.

Dean later revealed that he knew his girlfriend was a fan of proposal videos on YouTube so he wanted to make her one of her very own.

Spoiler alert: she says yes!
